Preparing for Worship_5/18/25
Join us Sunday May 18th as we worship together and study Ephesians 5:1-7. We will see how knowing we are “beloved in Christ” leads to “contentment in Christ”. We begin to find true freedom when we ask hard questions like “where am I DISCONTENT with God’s provision in my life?” Paul uses two very prominent examples – sex & greed – to reveal ways our hearts are enslaved. Bryan Chappel said of sexual lust & material greed: both are consequence of concluding that what God provides is not enough.
The apostle Paul calls and compels us to find true life through Christ who loved us and gave himself up for us and by imitating his life of costly sacrifice.
