Preparing for Worship: 5/3/26
Join us as we continue in Luke 7 and see various responses of faith in Jesus. Last week we saw faith in the midst of devastation caused by disease and death. This week we will see what faith looks like in the midst of our doubts.
In this account, we see an imprisoned John the Baptist have doubts if “Jesus is “the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?”. If John the Baptist, whom Jesus said “no one greater has been born of a women” (7:28) has doubts, what does that say about us? What do we learn about how Jesus responds when we have doubts? What does it look like to have faith in the midst of not understanding what God might be doing in our lives?
