Preparing for Worship: 1/18/26
Join us as we see John the Baptist “prepare the way” for Jesus. Luke 3:1-20 shows how we prepare to receive and be changed by Jesus through repentance. Last week we saw a call to grow through Jesus, this week shows a means to grow & change.
Repent is a slippery word in theological circles today. Fore some it merely means to feel remorse about something done, or maybe even just to attend confession with no real hope to stop sin. But in biblical terms, to repent means to alter one’s direction and perspective on something or points of view. – Darrell Bock, Luke
