Preparing for Worship: 10/4/26

Join us Sunday as we continue in this section of Luke which helps us know and understand what Jesus calls his followers to be about. We saw last week how his followers are to relate to others (Good Samaritan), next week we will see how we are to relate to God (Lord's Prayer) and in between, how those two work together in the teaching of Mary & Martha.

Her fault was not that she served. The condition of a servant well becomes every Christian. Her fault was that she grew ‘cumbered with much serving,’ so that she forgot him and only remembered the service. Martha’s ministry was keeping her from Jesus. - Charles Spurgeon
