Preparing for Worship: 9/27/26

Join us this Sunday as we look at the Parable of the Good Samaritan and celebrate our families with a Child Dedication.
We have been seeing what is looks like to "follow" Jesus and how we relate to and function in the Kingdom of God. The account of the Good Samaritan reveals how we relate to others which leads into how we relate to God (ch 11) and then how we relate to what we have (ch 12).
We will see how the mercy, love & sacrifice of Jesus compels and enables this mercy, love & sacrifice towards others.
The kindness of a Christian towards others should be a practical love, a love which entails on him self-sacrifice and self-denial, both in money, and time, and trouble. His charity should be seen not merely in his talking, but his acting not merely in his profession, but in his practice - JC Ryle
